447 Sport Sedan named “Best Bets of 2006” by Boating Magazine

The Cruisers Yachts 447 Sport Sedan was recently honored by Boating Magazine for its innovation in the marine industry. In the December 2006 issue, the magazine called out 16 boats from more than 150 tested for various accomplishments in naval design.
The 447 Sport Sedan's insulated fuel tanks are the feature that got the experts' attention. Boating Magazine said: "The diesel fuel tanks are insulated to keep heat from the unburned fuel coming back via the return line out of the cabin above. (It)helps reduce the demand on your air conditioning."
This is not the first time Cruisers Yachts has been recognized as a "Best Bet" by the Magazine. In 2004, the swim platform settee on the 520 Express was honored. Then in 2005, the streamlined underwater gear on the 395 Motoryacht was called out.
