Cruisers Yachts Announces Premier Supplier Award Recipients

OCONTO, Wis. (August 27, 2007) - Cruisers Yachts, Wisconsin's premier manufacturer of luxury yachts, recently announced the recipients of its Premier Supplier Awards during the company's annual dealer meeting held at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort & Golf Club in St. Petersburg, Fla. in early August.  The award honors Cruisers Yachts' top suppliers of materials and boat-building services each year.

This year, Cruisers Yachts Premier Supplier Awards were presented to three companies, each in the small, medium and large annual dollar volume categories.

Small Supplier Category

  • ITC Inc. - ITC is a supplier of 12 volt lighting components, faucets and exhaust blowers.  The company excels in all areas of Cruisers Yachts selection criteria with special acknowledgment of on-time delivery.

Medium Supplier Category

  • Michigan Wheel Corporation - This company supplies inboard propellers.  Michigan Wheel recently achieved ISO 9001 certification resulting in exceptional product quality and on time delivery.

Large Supplier Category

  • Raymarine - This company is a world class manufacturer of marine electronics.  Raymarien is stellar at working with short lead times and has an extensive dealer network qualified to service their products.

Award recipients are selected based on criteria including quality of products, timeliness of delivery, technical support and cost.  Throughout the year, the Cruisers Yachts service, purchasing, sales and engineering teams produce lists of qualified vendors dependent upon interaction and performance and come together to make a decision on those companies that meet or exceed required criteria.
