Cruisers Yachts Introduces 2008 360 Express
Numerous model updates for 2008 make Cruisers Yachts standout
OCONTO, Wis. (July 15, 2007) - Cruiser Yachts is continuing its 2008 dramatic product expansion with its new 360 Express. A sporty exterior styling draws attention and once aboard, the openness and customization of the cockpit and interior will further captivate customers. And, of course Cruisers Yachts showcases its functional walk-thru windshield providing easy, safe foredeck access. The 360 Express offers a full range of gas or diesel power options in V-drive or stern drive.
Exterior and Cockpit
The 360 cockpit is an open concept allowing plenty of space for moving about and entertaining. The helm features a wide standard double captain’s seat with a portside companion lounge. Aft seating is generous with a U-shape formation and includes two convenient tables that convert to a sun lounge and can be hidden away to create additional floor space. Optional aft facing fold-away transom “rumble” seating provides unique aft facing comfort while swimming or dockside. While a wet bar is standard, the 360 Express cockpit is customizable for taste and budget with such features as an icemaker, refrigerator and an electric grill.
The 360 Express has a user-friendly helm with a sports-car-like steering wheel. Also available is an optional electronics packages that includes a VHF radio, digital depth finder, GPS and C80 eight-inch color chart plotter. The foredeck of the 360 Express with its available chaise lounge area is accessible by the signature Cruisers Yachts walk-thru windshield.
The cockpit includes a stylish new “wavy” carpet design for 2008 that is removable, or customers can select care-free synthetic teak decking throughout the cockpit as well as on the swim platform as an option. The 360 Express comes equipped with a standard arch or an optional hardtop. Customers are provided with numerous options for the interior scheme and exterior gel colors for further personalization of the boat.
Interior Salon, Galley and Stateroom
Cruisers Yachts continues its trend of providing a queen-size island berth that is not often found on yachts of this size category. The access to either side of the bed combined with an inviting cushioned headboard creates a homey, bedroom-like environment. The cabin area also provides a large hang locker (an additional hang locker is located aft) and numerous cabinets for storage. Ventilation in the forward stateroom is provided by an opening overhead hatch and portholes on either side. The stateroom is sectioned off from the rest of the interior area by a uniquely “tucked away” privacy curtain. For additional privacy, a full bulkhead and door is available.
The galley and salon are placed mid-section of the 360 Express and the area is exposed to a plethora of natural light from six large vertical ports. Additional opening screened portholes are provided for ventilation. Further climate control is handled by a standard air conditioner and reverse cycle heat unit.
The galley area is visually separated from the open interior with teak flooring for easy care and cleanup. The countertops are attractive with a new marbled, khaki-colored granite-like solid surface for 2008. The appliance line-up includes a standard microwave oven with built-in coffee maker, refrigerator/freezer combination unit and two-burner electrical stove. A sophisticated bottle and glass storage area has also been added to the galley.
Opposite of the galley sits a generous sofa dinette with two seating styles, the standard being a straight sofa that can comfortably seat four adults. For additional sleeping space, the dinette can also be ordered with a sofa sleeper. Also included is a flat panel 20-inch LCD TV DVD that can be viewed from either the salon or forward stateroom and 120-watt Sirius-ready stereo with CD-player and helm remote. A premium sound-system upgrade is available with a six-disc CD-changer, subwoofer, amplifier and additional pair of cockpit speakers. An optional central vacuum system makes weekend fun easy to clean up.
The head is aft and includes a separate shower stall and Cruisers Yachts’ new stately Venetian-style tiled countertop splashguard for 2008. A U-shaped lounge amidships with removable table is easy to access with notable headroom and a feeling of openness. This seating area also serves as a second sleeping location and converts to a double-sized berth. Or for the ultimate in privacy, customers can also add an optional bulkhead and door to create a separate second stateroom.
If the TV DVD in the salon area doesn’t meet the needs of entertainment seekers, Cruisers Yachts has added additional 15-inch LCD TV DVD options in the forward stateroom, amidships lounge area and the cockpit.
